Hailing from Cleveland “The Mistake by the Lake” Ohio via the frozen tundra of Vermont, Jesse finally broke out of the Gulag and made a run for Albany.
Jesse made his bones starting in 1993 at the tender age of sixteen, under circumstances we’ll never reveal. Following this inauspicious introduction to our ancient craft, he was mentored by a slew of old-timers including Marc “Vampire” DeGerolamo of Easton PA; Jacci Gresham of NOLA; Mel May, Toni and Jeff of VT and many more. His specialty is no specialty, having spent many years schlepping flash at street shops and custom studios from Seattle, WA to Groton, CT – all the while building his artistic chops with the influence of many kick-ass tattooists he’s met along the way. Traditional, realistic, portraits, whatever suits your fancy, he’ll make it happen.
Jesse enjoys being challenged to new and interesting ideas, but always insists on building tattoos that will stand the test of time. He especially enjoys imagery and themes derived from nature, and couldn’t think of a better way to spend a day than covering your hide in flowers and animals – especially bugs – Jesse loves bugs.
